The Millermatic series is the number one choice of the masses for a high performance all in one MIG welder.
The Millermatic series has different models and units with different features and specifications, so you are assured that you will find one that will fit both your needs and your budget. As to the general features of the Millermatic series, here are some examples. Take note that each model might have some if not all of these features.
Auto set
This feature allows the welder to be automatically set with the appropriate parameters. This feature makes it possible to make the set up as simple as possible and give you accurate settings in an instant. With Auto Set, you will get quality welding every time.
Manual mode
The Millermatic series can also be set manually depending on your desired parameters. So whenever you are going to be welding aluminium, mild or stainless steel, or anything that you need to weld, you can adjust your own parameters and begin welding.
Thermal overload protection
This feature automatically shuts down the unit every time air flow is blocked or duty cycle is exceeded. The duty cycle of the Millermatic series is usually 10 minutes and is divided into two portions, 6 minutes for continuous work and 4 minutes of rest. With the thermal overload protection, your machine will be under safety measures to avoid any damage. As the machine shuts down for minutes, it will eventually be reactivated automatically when problem is fixed or when the machine cools down.
Tip saver
This feature allows the output to be automatically shut down when tips becomes shorted to the work. This feature can absolutely extend the contact tip life and likewise protect the machine’s internal elements from possible damage. Along with this, the trigger reset feature allows the reset to be with the torch instead of the unit itself.
Fan on demand
This feature is a cooling system that automatically activates only when necessary. This cooling system allows your machine to be constantly clear of contaminants and dirt but at the same time does not consume much power.
Gun on demand
This feature allows you to use any push – pull gun from the Miller without ever flipping the switch. The machine automatically senses which gun you are actually using as you pull the trigger.
Contractor circuit
This feature makes the wire cold till you pull the trigger. This feature allows the unit to be safe and the torch to be in a good position before you can start welding.

This warranty assures you how good the Millermatic series is. But just in case you come across some problem, the Millermatic welders have a 3 year warranty for parts and labor. The original power rectified pieces have five year warranty while the gun has a warranty of ninety days for parts and labor.
